Stephanie Stevenson is group director of HNB Salons based in Sandbanks, Poole - better known as the south coast’s millionaires’ playground, as it boasts some of the world’s most expensive real estate.
With over 30 years hairdressing experience and working with some of the industry’s leading names before striking out on her own, like the legendary ‘Teasy Weasy’ Raymond.
Stephanie’s bespoke approach to her customers, and staff, means she is one of the most respected names in hairdressing in the country, with customers travelling from all over the world to ensure their hair is looked after by her personally.
HNB Salons
Her flagship salon in Canford Cliffs is legendary not only for the unrivalled quality of its styling, but also for its resident concierge Michael, who will valet park your car for you – a testament to Stephanie’s eye for detail when dealing with her clients.
As one of only 200 invited members of the Fellowship of British Hairdressers Association, she is courted by celebrities and the media alike for her skills and advice, and has previously been nominated for the Business Director of the Year accolade at the British Hairdressing Awards.
The business has become a true family one. Stephanie’s husband John left his career as an airline pilot to help manage the expanding empire in 2002 and now her daughter Amy has recently joined forces with her mum too.
When Stephanie saw that there wasn’t a genuine salon-standard hair extension product on the market, she decided to take the plunge and use all her experience and credibility to create an affordable salon-quality alternative.
After 18 months of planning and creation, and six weeks in China working with the technicians to perfect the product, her range of Salon Confidential Clip & Go Hair Extensions were launched.
Almost immediately they were snapped up by the Arcadia Group in five of its flagship Dorothy Perkins stores, and they are now available countrywide both in-store and online for £45.
